Every time I hear some kid (one can only hope they're still kids) claim that "The Hunger Games" is the best book to movie adaption they've ever seen, I want to sit them down with "Silence of the Lambs", "The Green Mile" and "Gone with the fucking Wind"

having read gone with the wind, i agree.

i probably loose some creditability by saying the harry potter movies weren't half bad.

The Potter adaptions were hit or miss for me

I liked the first two, OOTP and DH-1. GOF and HBP were ok-ish, but I loathed POA and DH-2
