Mindfuck

So I finally read "An Echo in the Bone", and surprise surprise, it's quite good, even has decent plot - at least in the first 2/3 of the book



That was more an outline for a book then a finished story
Sure, it was bad when Claire needed 200 pages to fetch water in book 5, but now
- Jamie misses his ship to America
- said ship sinks
- Lord John learns about it
- Claire starts being a spy
- Claire is found out as a spy
- Lord John proposes to marry her
- The wedding itself

happen within no time at all
(The draft about Lord John asking Claire to marry him that was years ago on Diana Gabaldons Webpage was more fleshed out then the whole thing now)


But the really, really, REALLY fucked up thing?
The part where Lord John and Claire actually have sex........

I don't think anyone really saw that coming........
