Sorry, I need to let off some steam
(And I haven’t even seen today’s episode yet, as I just find more enjoyment from the YouTube Vids then from joining the Livestream and discussion - I just got the feeling from reactions, that today is not the happy day many have hoped for
1)Does anyone still believe that Luke and Reid will have sex on this show?
Because I don’t!
The “An Oakdale duo makes love for the first time” spoiler vanished around the same time, the spoiler about Katie and Chris having sex popped up. Never mind that some veteran watchers pointed out that they first did it years ago.
Also never mind, that Chris was sick for weeks now, and possibly could/should get a heart attack when over doing the heart-rate thing.
When would Luke/Reid sex happen? There is only more drama with Chris in the spoilers, plus the return of John Dixon, and then, the supposed drama of Reid’s death, that is indicated to happen in about three weeks
I know some people are holding on the hope for Lure sex because ESS used a certain turn of phrase in a recent interview, but it’s the same interview that looked heavily edited. (ESS constantly seemed to refer to Reid as “Oliver”, and he hasn’t done that in any other interview)
2) So Jake Silbermann is in exactly two more episodes?
From an on-call sheet for the actors it is indicated that he tapped on Eric/Reid’s last day, and then one episode after that as well
How the fuck are they going to make a Nuke endgame even half-way possible without completely destroying the character of Luke for the sake of it?
But then they do kill Reid off for the sake of it so why not sacrifice Luke as well? it isn't like they will have to pay for that as the show will be over either way.
3) Not only is Chris supposed to get Reid’s heart as a transplant, but he get’s it because Reid says so???
WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK!!!!!!
I still couldn't find any more information on Organ Transplants in the US, but from what I have, this sounds like something illegal.
Sure, living donations can be made for certain organs, and then a recipient can be chosen, but in other cases the organ goes to the next match on the waiting list.
So either we have two doctors, who are/were the top candidates for taking over the leadership of a hospital, taking part in human organ trafficking, or we have to extend our believe so far, that Reid will not only be a match for Chris, but that Chris really makes it to the top of a waiting list for a heart transplant in three weeks
And if Chris really get’s to be Chief-of-Staff (Reid’s death is really good to help a lot of people to get what they want by default, rather then by being chosen) then that hospital would have been better off sold to Invicta - considering that Chris has really done a lot of questionable things (sexual assault on a nurse, letting Katie mess with records, the possible organ trafficking mentioned above)
I know, this is a soap opera, so realistic plots are optional, but really, this is beyond *headdesk*
This is proof that all logic went out the window for the shows final weeks (or as the already mentioned veteran watchers claim, writing like that is why the show got cancelled in the first place)
