How to Write a Damn Good Novel (James N. Frey) - 200 pages (reread) - 6/10
How to Write a Damn Good Novel II (James N. Frey) - 197 pages (reread) - 4/10
I read those books about fifteen years ago, and back then they were too complicated for my beginning writing.
Now I usually do the stuff mentioned in those books are things I usually do without thinking about it too much. So the only help the books prove are that I'm taking more notice of it.
Anita Blake - Circus of the Damned- The Charmer - Part I (L.K. Hamilton & others) - 37 pages
The story remains one of the better ones in the series, but thed drawing ... It may be better than in "The first Death" but it still... silly at best

The Intimate Adventures of a London Call Girl (Belle de Jour) - 304 pages
Partly better than the BBC series, partly less interesting. Again a book that losses a lot of momentum in the last few chapters.
