Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
has now officiall surpassed Prisoner of Azkaban as the worst HP movie
Let's just say it is very heavy on CGI and drawn out battle scenes and very light on consistency with the book.
- Harry just walking into the Great Hall to inform Snape of his security problem
- Since Harry and Dumbledore never talked about the objects Voldemort might have used as Horcruxes, Harry can now find them because they call to him. ( I can't help but imagine "The Horcruxes - Live: A Musical")
- For a moment (or five) it looked like they wouldn't let Neville kill Nagini - all for the sake of more GGI and more drawn out battle, of course
- Have I mentioned all the CGI and drawn out battle scenes? Yes? Despite all that Remus and Tonks still got killed off screen! As did Fred, BTW!
- On the other hand no Knut was spent on special effects or make-up in the "19 years later" part of the movie, so Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny didn't look a day older than 19 themselves
Originally I planned to watch the movie again with some other friends on Saturday, but right now I'm not sure I can't stomach it again so soon.
