OMG!!!!!
Best non-Owen-centric episode of TW ever!
When I first heard that there would be an episode just about Jack's past, I was very worried. Even more so when I realized that it would be really late in this ten episode arch.
Way to kill the action.
But it worked perfectly.
I still don't like mortal!Jack. He's a big asshole. Trying to con Gwen like that when she feared for her family, just so he can stay alive a little longer after all those years wishing he wasn't immortal.
And finally an alien!
I was so afraid that we would get a full season of TW and not a single alien would show up.
Second episode in a row without Kissinger and Oswald.... damn, I miss them!
And they really killed Vera, didn't they?
I still can't really believe it. I expect them to have her show up again at some important point.
I love Andy sooo much!

Damn, but they had chemistry!
That was the thing I never got about Jack/Ianto. They didn't have any over three seasons, but as soon as they bring in someone else for an episode or two (like real!Jack or John) it goes off the charts!
And of course another cliffhanger from hell!
Can't wait to watch the full story at once when this is done!

From the minute they looked at each other, it was everything I assume we were supposed to be seeing in Jack/Ianto and that I for one, never did.
