Took me long enough to read this, but I must say, it did answer some questions I had for 10 or even 15 years.

Blood Series - Book 3 - Blood Lines (Tanya Huff) - 368 pages
Vicki Nelson > Anita Blake - less internal drama about multiple men in her life
And we don't even want to go into the part were this series does have plot, while the other not
