Doctor Who - 5x02

My biggest problem with this episode was the part where it is only set 1000 or 1500 years in the future, and Earth is already inhabitable, while various earlier episodes point out that the humans will have thousands and thousands of years yet to come on Earth, and when the sun expanses (see 1x02 - The End of the World) the planet is empty for a long time already
so yeah, not a fan of this contradiction



Then there was some new companion breaking in stuff ... Doctor is an alien, Doctor is the last of his kind, Doctor tries to stay out of trouble but always fails....


I loved the idea of a sassy queen still ruling Britain even in Space... just to find out that she is the one having brought all this on themselves, and making everyone plus herself forget.... that was scary


I wonder if the Space-Whale is somehow related to the creature in Torchwood episode "Meat"
And of course the whole thing also had a "Discworld" kind of feeling to it


Again, the "Memory-Shot" to come to a conclusion - just this time in Amy's brain, not the Doctors. Loved it last week, still do this week


Speaking of Amy...
I wasn't sure if I loved her after last week, but this time, she really was pretty awesome. Especially in the end when she was about to tell the Doctor about the wedding


Also, I'm already kind of used to the new Theme
