Ok, You may not know but in the past weeks I acquired a new fandom
It's not one of the cool ones I think, as it is an American Daytime Soap Opera (that is already cancelled at that and just has a few more months to run)
(And here I was thinking that things couldn't get more embarrassing then watching American Idol, Deutschland sucht den Superstar and Germanys next Top model in one week)

As the World turns has currently a major story line that is a Gay-Love- Triangle

The story in short:
A young, long-time couple (Luke and Noah) split up after Noah gets blind after an accident that may or may not have happened if Luke hadn't been jealous
Luke, who has a big heart and comes from both a rich and a grounded background, blackmails a brain specialist to come to their small town to operate on Noah.
Said surgeon - Reid - isn't too happy about this, and let's Luke know every time they meet, until they are forced to work together on a project
As such things go hate turns into attraction, just when Noah has his surgery and gets his eyesight back - just in time to see his ex, whom he suddenly wants back, snog his doctor

so currently Noah wants Luke, Reid wants Luke and Luke is very, very confused


And from all the spoilers and previews I can only say one thing

OMG!!! OMG!!! TODAY IS GOING TO BE AN EPIC EPISODE

LOL, I find Reid amusing. I'm really glad he's on the show, because it was getting boring. He brings a lot of new awesomeness there. I just wish he could be happy and get his own boyfriend who'd love him! <3

I like the idea of Reid and Luke
The Jerk and the guy who just sits beside and smiles and loves him just the same

it's the same kind of chemistry that made me a Snape/Lupin shipper for years and years

Well, I dunno about Snape/Remus (never liked Snape enough to ship him with anybody and I'm huge fan of Kingsley/Remus ^^'), but in the case of ATWT I really like Reid and Luke. Though I'm used to Luke being with Noah and all, but Reid brings so much into this show, even if he's not there for too long. I'd love to see him staying on the show and getting his own boyfriend <33333

I guess they are keeping the Reid/Luke story during the summer since its currently THE storyline in all of US daytime

and in the fall when the show comes to it's conclusion.... well, there are some spoilers/rumours out there that hint that everybody will be pissed off

so I guess we just have to wait and see (and until then write some more fanfic)
