Movies

Angels and Demons

I just read the book again last week, and so I noted the changes pretty well. I guess I need to see it a second time.
I think Langdon got a few of the clues to easy and with leaving out the BBC reporting team getting exclusive footage they also took a lot of momentum out of the second half

Later when they let the last Cardinal survive and the Chamberlengo got into the helicopter alone without having the "vision2 of where to find the antimatter I was a bit afraid that they would change the whole end of the story so I could not really watch it relaxed.

The movie also gets extra brownie points, because it is one of the very few international movies with Swiss German Dialog in it :)

Inkheart

Only got to see it from DVD now as the local cinema showed it only for one week last year, and also only in the German dub version

- The cast just rocked! Well, aside from Brandon Fraser and the girl that played Maggie

- They will get my eternal gratitude for dropping the silly Mo/Resa/Dustfinger love-triangle

- Forget everything I should ever have said about Paul Bettany not looking like "my" Dustfinger

- The4 books always gave me slashy Dustfinger/Farid vibes ... the movie only made it worse better!

- The Text-Tattoos on the people/creatures Darius did read out - wonderfull addition

- Looks like they do not go to turn the other two books into movies - but included a lot of the Inkworld already + Happy End for Dustfinger!

I went to see the film on my birthday. Because I have the most embarrassing fangirl crush on Paul Bettany and because Dustfinger always was my favourite Inkheart character. And my friend did notice the Dustfinger/Farid vibes as well, even though she never read the books.
