I have a love-hate relationship with the Daleks... and this time it was clearly on the love side!
The whole beginning of them being soldiers for the humans, and delivering tea! It was really refreshing to see them as polite beings

Of course the Doctor can't trust them, and by insisting that they are evil and dangerous and called Daleks he gives them back the power to be evil and dangerous.
So yes, this time around the Doctor is responsible for them being able to come back and be stronger then ever. (and in five new collectable colors)
And by them getting away, I hope we finally at the end of those endless loopholes that made some of them survive genocide after genocide.

Has the Doctor ever asked what year Amy is from?
Is he just expecting her to be from the early 21st century? Or did she never see a Dalek because she wasn't born when they kidnapped the planet?
